WHAT TRUCKS DO I NEED?

All trucks come in various widths to fit each deck size.

Each brand has their own brand size, which is related to the axle width of the truck, for example:

Independent 139 has an axle width of 8”

Trucks come in various heights to fit your skating style.

Brands can have their own profile heights, but normally there are three approximate height profiles of trucks:

LOW / MID / HIGH

Low - Great for technical street skating, more control and stability but also means more potential for wheel bite.

Mid / Standard - Best option for an all-rounder, whether you want to flip over a bench or carve a bowl, this is a perfect middle ground height.

High - Ideal for transition skating and smoother rides, but the added height will make tricks harder to perform.

The relationship between width and height varies, but usually, the wider the truck - the higher the truck.
